About the Role
We seek an exceptional Community Disability Support Worker to join our team. Your role will involve providing support to individuals with daily living tasks, empowering them to live independent and holistic lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with daily activities around the home, ensuring clients' comfort and safety.
* Provide personal care and hygiene support, promoting independence and dignity.
* Accompany clients outside the home environment, facilitating social connections and community engagement.
* Support medication compliance, including dispensing prescription medication where necessary.
* Assist with meal preparation and provision, promoting healthy eating habits.
Requirements:
* A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support.
* A valid Drivers License, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance.
* At least one year of experience as a Disability Support Worker.
* NDIS Clearance, First Aid certification (valid for 3 years), CPR certification (valid for 12 months), and National Police Clearance – or willingness to obtain.
