Founded in 2019, XD Law has established itself as a leading public interest law firm in Australia.
XD has represented and continues to represent independent media and citizen journalists, whistleblowers, activists and survivors of abuses of power. The team works across diverse civil litigation areas including defamation, commercial and contract law, administrative law, tort law, maritime law, international law, and environmental law. Case loads involve a mix of public interest work and commercial litigation and arbitration work.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The firm is looking for a lawyer with between 3 - 6 years post-admission experience with experience in disputes work.
The position offers a high level of autonomy and is well suited for a hardworking, self-motivated individual who wants an opportunity to think creatively, design and implement strategic litigation actions and build robust relationships with clients and colleagues.
Ideally, you have:
Experience working within a litigation setting
An interest in strategic litigation and public interest matters
Robust relationship building skills and demonstrated ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
