You'll explore drill and blast planning, providing broader exposure within the operation. You'll partner closely with our client's mine planning team to ensure designs, reserves, and schedules support the mines progression.
Your key responsibilities include:
 * Optimising designs and schedules, enhancing fleet mix across planning horizons.
 * Managing Drill and Blast systems.
 * Collaborating with client mine planning teams to strategise and coordinate the Thiess plan.
 * Engaging with stakeholders on short-term planning and operational challenges.
 * Communicating evolving plans within the team.
 * Building relationships with operations teams to foster strong working dynamics.
 * Analysing coal reconciliation along with mine rehabilitation design, planning, and execution.
 * Reporting on weekly and monthly production metrics.
