Harvey Norman Commercial, located in Port Melbourne are seeking a highly motivated Business Analyst to join our growing and successful commercial business on a Full-time basis across a 38 hour week. Your new role As the Business Analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing, managing, and maintaining organisational data ensuring data integrity, accuracy and accessibility is always upheld to the highest standard and maintained. Collaborates with cross-function teams to support data-driven, decision-making while supporting the general maintenance of company databases. Reporting to our Senior Systems Operations Manager, you will also: Design and maintain data structures within multiple database systems Assist with the design, documentation and implementation of database useability processes and procedures Develop dashboards by creating regular and ad-hoc reports from different data sources to support decision making Identify, analyse, validate, and document business benefits associated with data driven initiative Establish and maintain database security protocols Perform maintenance of backup and recovery systems To be successful you will have: A tertiary level qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent 5 years’ experience in a similar role Proven experience preparing documentation, policies, procedures, and instructions relating to system useability. Proven experience maintaining databases including but not limited to designing naming conventions and data sets.
