About the role:
You will be responsible for growing our structural steel business across the Gold Coast region, building strong client relationships, and driving new business opportunities.
Key responsibilities:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving sales growth and strengthening our presence in the region.
You will
* Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
* Managing and growing an existing portfolio of clients
* Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
* Preparing quotes and delivering sales presentations
* Conducting market analysis and staying up to date with industry trends and upcoming projects
* Collaborating with internal teams to deliver the best outcomes for customers
* Always ensuring exceptional customer service
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in external or B2B sales (steel or related industry experience highly regarded)
* A proven track record of developing new business and achieving sales targets
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‐building skills
* A proactive "can‐do" attitude and strong work ethic
* Intermediate computer skills
* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* A background in steel manufacturing or distribution will be highly advantageous
