**The Role**
Reporting to the Group Head of ESG, the Carbon Advisory Leader will drive the delivery of cutting-edge carbon advice and foster the growth of sustainable specialist carbon advisory services, expanding TSA's reach and impact in the industry.
This is a new and exciting opportunity for a recognised leader within the Carbon industry, driving their key discipline area of Net Zero Carbon policy, embodied carbon, buildings, materials, and construction.
You will have assignment responsibilities on large and/or complex programs of work and have responsibility for developing and maintaining key client relationships. As a highly experienced consultant, you will manage the profitability of multiple projects, and lead resource planning and business account management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Together with the Group Head of ESG, leverage TSA's existing strong client relationships to generate work in the Carbon Advisory space.
- Lead client project delivery, within time and cost constraints.
- Peer review and support clients to achieve accurate carbon footprints for organizations, sites, precincts and products.
- Provide leadership and development to junior and mid-level consultants.
- Broad engagement with clients across a variety of forms (e.g. meetings / workshops etc) for data collection, evaluation, reduction and Net Zero planning;
- Management of multiple client projects concurrently.
**About You**
You are passionate about sustainability and the decarbonisation of the built environment and are hungry to help grow and nurture a team and build off TSA's existing client base. With a strong track record of successful delivery and leadership in a consulting or construction business, you will have an in-depth appreciation for the complexities of the project cycle of linear infrastructure and buildings.
We are looking for someone that has amassed a significant industry network and is an active participant in industry associations and leadership forums.
**Required Experience**
- Extensive experience in sustainability and carbon advisory across the built environment
- Tertiary qualifications in an industry recognised degree in Cost Consulting, Sustainability, Renewable Energy, Energy/carbon Auditing, Building Science or economics are an advantage.
- Training or certification in life cycle carbon management, design, engineering or sustainability
- Knowledge / training or experience with CDP / GreenStar (or similar) / LBC / Leed etc
- Strong client relationship management skills
- Ideally you will have one or more of the following NABERS Accreditation, NGERS and or Carbon Auditing Certified, Climate Active certification (or similar), Whole-life-Carbon competent, Green Building Rating (one or more)
- Experience in quantitative assessment and design evaluation
- Experience in developing and managing data analysis tools.
