**The Role**
As Assistant Director Information Management, you will lead a small team within the Directorate of ICT - Joint Operations Command (JOC). You will be responsible for developing and implementing Information Management frameworks, strategies, policies and systems to improve and maintain the creation, collection and management of information throughout its lifecycle.
This will be achieved by actively engaging stakeholders, ensuring JOC maintains decision superiority in support and conduct of ADF Operations. To excel in this role, you will have:
- Proven ability to advocate for, and explain and tailor the content and format of information delivery to suit different audiences.
- Proven communication skills (written and verbal) along with the professionalism and maturity to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to be flexible in the approach to managing changing priorities in this fast paced and productive workplace, along with the eagerness to learn and advance in a growing organisation
**About our Team**
The JOC Information Management team is a small, dynamic and collaborative team that seeks to continually improve a range of Information Management initiatives to support the conduct of ADF Operations. The team is one of two sections within the Directorate of ICT.
JOC Information Management core responsibilities include Records and Web Management applied in a logical manner to ensure information stakeholders have access to the right information in a timely manner. The broader Directorate leads JOC Data and Business Intelligence initiatives, the success of which are dependent on the requirement definition and integration with Information Management initiatives.
