We are seeking a highly experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, VIC.

Your key responsibilities will include:
">
">
1. Dismantling, inspecting, testing, repairing and reassembling aircraft engines, ancillary components, accessories, and electrical systems;
">
2. Conducting routine pre–flight checks and inspections of engines and equipment;
">
3. Maintaining thorough records of actions taken;
">
4. Assembling components, parts and subassemblies of aircraft engines and equipment;
">
5. Testing, maintaining, replacing, and upgrading aircraft safety equipment.
">
">
The essential requirements for this role include:
">
">
6. 2+ years experience on Dash 8 Q200, Q300 and Q400 aircraft (or similar type, e.g. turboprop aircraft);
">
7. Trade Certificate IV (Mechanical), (Structures) or (Avionics);
">
8. Highly skilled and competent in aircraft mechanical system troubleshooting, repair and installation of mechanical components;
">
9. Strong team player;
">
10. Ability to follow supervisory direction;
">
11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
">
12. Consistent positive and proactive attitude;
">
13. Passion for safe work practices;
">
14. Valid work visa;
">
15. Red ASIC card (or ability to obtain);
">
16. Current Australian Driver's licence.
