**How will I help?**

The Functional Consultant provides HR systems support for the Recruitment module that was deployed in March '21. The role is best suited to somebody with problem solving and analysis skills for the Bank's core HR systems. These systems include Oracle Cloud HCM, Oracle EBS, and expertise in Oracle Talent Management Cloud and Workforce Compensation Cloud. Ability to understand system risk controls and requirements to satisfy these controls.

Key to the success of this role is the ability to demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and define the problem, alongside an effective solution appetite. Your role will include:

- Perform system configuration and enhancements for HR systems functions
- Manage system configuration changes from initial request through to implementation
- Perform and assess impacts to systems based on change requests
- Perform and manage the maintenance of the HR Systems
- Provide advice on HR systems logic & design
- Perform and manage system upgrades, including reading and analysing release notes.
- Perform testing on HR systems
- Understand Oracle product roadmap and alignment of features and functionality against Westpac HR strategy
- Manage, triage and resolve HR Systems defects
- Analyse issues root cause and implement process improvements to prevent defect recurring
- Take ownership for the resolution of recurring system issues
- Manage and monitor defects escalated to Group Technology and/or vendors
- Document system configurations, Standard Operating Procedures, Test Plans and Scripts and other HR systems documentation
- Proactively provide HR systems support for HR Service Centre, HR partners and the wider business
- Where required, provide training and assistance to our customers and stakeholders following system changes and enhancements.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures, as defined for role and functions.
- Take part in Agile sprints to improve current processes and HR systems functions.

**What do I need?**

This is a role that blends solid understanding for HCM tools, with engagement and analytic prowess. To be considered, you will need to bring a diverse skill set that enables you to interact with the business, key users and understand their requirements. You will bring:

- Functional expertise in Cloud HCM suite, including features of OCR
- Expertise with Talent Management and Workforce Compensation modules
- Demonstrated solution and problem-solving appetite - understanding and defining the problem, root cause analysis.
- Exceptional Customer service and stakeholder management
- Demonstrated experience in the use of systems and databases.
- Analysing and resolving system defects.
- Microsoft Office suite
- Intermediate SQL knowledge
- Experience in Agile environment and practices
- Awareness of Operational risks and risk controls
- Ability to manage relationships with vendor teams to obtain resolutions
- HR system administration and configuration e.g. Oracle.
