The Role
We are looking for an experienced CNC Machine Operator / Programmer to join our growing manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machines to produce precision components for the personal watercraft industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Program and operate CNC machinery including:
* Haas 3+2 CNC milling machine
* Doosan twin-spindle lathe with bar feeder
* CNC router
* Create and modify tool paths using SolidCAM software.
* Demonstrated proficiency specifically in SolidCAM software is essential.
* Interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Ensure quality control through accurate measurement and inspection.
* Maintain machinery, tools, and workspace in top working order.
* Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain consistent output quality.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a CNC machinist, operator, or programmer.
* Proficiency in SolidCAM or similar CAM software.
* Experience with multi-axis CNC machines.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
Desirable
* Experience in motorsport or high-performance manufacturing.
* Knowledge of CAD design.
* Trade qualification in machining, manufacturing, or related field.
