The Department of Parliamentary Services is recruiting for a Communications and Publishing Officer to join the Client Relations team within the Parliamentary Library. The role involves developing and distributing engaging digital communications, managing social media presence, and collaborating with business areas and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include creating and distributing online communications, liaising with clients and internal staff to develop user-focused information products, contributing to the library's communications strategy, and maintaining and monitoring the library's intranet and website.
The successful candidate will have experience in creating and distributing engaging communications, excellent written and oral communication skills, a great attention to detail, and sound judgement and understanding of the parliamentary and political environment.
Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing or similar are desirable but not essential. The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (Protected/Restricted) security clearance.

The salary range for this position is $89,410 to $95,924 per annum.
