We are representing a highly regarded, privately owned wealth management firm with a strong track record advising high‐net‐worth clients and SMSFs. Their model blends the depth of a traditional stockbroking house with the breadth of holistic financial planning and the agility of a boutique — giving you exposure to every facet of financial services.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced investment professional to step into a client‐facing Associate Advisor role. You'll work alongside Directors and senior portfolio managers, delivering tailored strategies, deepening client relationships, and building the technical and commercial expertise to become a fully authorised adviser.

If you haven't yet completed your Professional Year – you'll be guided through it with structured mentoring, client interaction, and technical training.
If you've already completed your Professional Year – you'll be authorised to provide advice under the supervision of a Director, with immediate client‐facing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with senior advisers to deliver bespoke investment and wealth management strategies to HNW clients and SMSFs
Prepare and present portfolio reviews, investment proposals, and strategic advice documents
Conduct in‐depth market research and contribute to investment strategy discussions
Manage and execute market orders across relevant trading systems
Maintain accurate client records in Xplan, Iress, FactSet, and other platforms
Participate in client meetings, contributing to relationship management and advice delivery
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and ethical standards

About You

Proven experience in broking, funds management, or private wealth advice (essential)
Degree‐qualified in finance, economics, commerce, or related discipline
Completed or currently undertaking Professional Year (PY)
RG146 compliant (or willing to obtain)
Strong technical skills in portfolio construction, investment analysis, and financial modelling
Excellent communication and relationship‐building skills
High attention to detail, initiative, and commercial acumen
Proficiency in Excel; coding skills highly regarded
