The Senior Urban Planner is responsible for providing strategic advice on planning and design matters and managing projects within the Investment and Portfolio Planning team and providing planning advice across Property Services. This role will liaise with developers, state and local planning authorities and other external stakeholders to ensure that development approval is secured for high quality, commercially viable projects.
The position is also responsible for the management of programs/reporting, coordinating, and directing developers, particularly for risk and quality control and preparing project progress reports and briefings. The role will ensure high quality design is achieved through planning applications. The Senior Urban Planner will need to have a proactive approach and a proven track record in problem solving planning matters. A key part of the role is structure planning and overseeing the review and assessment of planning applications.
Special Conditions
* Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Clearance prior to being employed.
* The successful applicant may be required to hold a current Australian issued Drivers Licence, which must be maintained.
Requirements
Desirable - Tertiary qualification in Urban Planning or related field.
Desirable - Accredited Professional Planning Level 1, 2, 3,4.
Remuneration
$108,109 - $116,864 (ASO7)
