Property Maintenance and Gardener
A position exists for performing property maintenance and gardening in and around the business during normal business hours. The applicant will attend to various properties within the Albury Wodonga region and will be responsible to execute the roles and responsibilities.
We're looking for a collaborative team player with strong communication skills. This hands-on role is ideal for an experienced gardener or landscaper who's passionate about their craft and enjoys the variety of doing something different each day.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Edging, mowing of lawns and weeding and weed control spraying
* Blow vacuuming and cleaning of external pavements and driveways
* Basic gardening maintenance and watering of trees and plants
* Cutting, pruning and trimming of trees and plants
* Ensure garden beds, trees, plants and lawn are presentable to a high standard
* Irrigation servicing, testing and repairs as required
* Cleaning and washing down externally of properties
* Basic pest and vermin control
* Checking and cleaning of gutters and solar panels
* Attend to basic property maintenance, upkeep and care internally and externally
* Collections and deliveries for the business
Applicants must have:
* a good level of experience in property maintenance and garden care
* a current and valid drivers licence
* a Tax File Number (TFN)
* good time management and scheduling skills
* excellent communication skills
* be honest, reliable and be a self-motivator
* leadership and the ability to work both alone and in a team environment
* skills in the proper and safe use of tools and equipment necessary for the works
* the ability to execute other duties as directed
The role is a minimum 32 hours or 40 hours per week and the position is offered as directly employed on a wage structure with company vehicle and all tools and equipment provided by the employer.
