We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced **National Key Account Manager - Banner & Wholesalers **to join our **Abbott Nutrition** business.
This role will drive growth of Abbott Nutrition products through the development of strategic partnerships with key wholesaler and retailer partners that build long term and sustainable business partnerships with strategically important accounts, as well as boosting brand loyalty and advocacy
**Your responsibilities include (and not limited to)**:
- Understand the market and channel opportunities to identify opportunities for market share growth at the customer and account level.
- Actively seek, identify, analyse and present new business opportunities and improvement ideas to senior management on an ongoing basis.
- Establish target customers and develop clear customer plans.
- Maintain close contact with major accounts, highlighting planned strategies to develop profitable business and gathering information for future business plans and initiatives.
- Better understand the customer's current and future needs and foster innovation to find new ways to serve customers. Understand competitor activity and develop customer retention strategies.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams (Marketing, CommEx, Supply Chain and Finance) to plan and execute brand strategy.
- Conducts strategic negotiations with key account decision makers and stakeholders across Australia and the Pacific Islands, to achieve successful business outcomes driving long term, profitable results for the Abbott Nutrition brands.
- Actively participate in the S&OP process by supporting forecasting.
- Evaluate market dynamics based on market trends and establish key priorities to analyse target customers in identifying opportunities.
- Work in collaboration with other retail KAM's to strategically target and implement new business opportunities.
**Who we're looking for**:
- Appropriate tertiary qualification in business or Nutrition or Dietetics certification.
- Sales experience within the Healthcare or Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Experience working strategically with wholesalers, banners and distributors
- Strong negotiation skills
- Provide leadership and direction to representatives via initiation of category relay, merchandising, positioning of displays and opportunities for Point of Sale materials.
- Experience liaising with Retail team RSM and driving retail team KPI's
- Thinking analytically including internal commercial principles regarding segmentation and targeting, commercial policy, trade marketing initiatives
