This role is perfect for someone who thrives in the early stages of design, bringing creative ideas and conceptual thinking to life. While the position centres on front-end design, it also offers full project exposure – giving you the chance to follow projects through all stages and gain valuable experience. You’ll work closely with the Studio Director, collaborating on a diverse portfolio of high-quality projects that reflect the practice’s reputation for thoughtful, innovative design.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Lead and contribute to concept design and early-stage project phases.
- Prepare high-quality design presentations, feasibility studies, and planning proposals.
- Collaborate closely with the Studio Director, project leaders, and clients.
- Drive creative thinking while balancing commercial, client, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to mentoring junior staff in design approaches and tools.
The successful applicant will bring strong written and verbal communication skills, along with a genuine passion for contributing across all project phases.
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Architectural qualifications, ideally with Registration (or working towards).
- 5+ years’ experience, with a strong focus on concept and early design stages.
- Strong design portfolio showcasing creativity and high-quality outcomes.
- Proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite
- Passion for design innovation and sustainable design solutions.
