Due to a recent incident at a waste management facility, our community recycling centres are temporarily unable to accept certain items.
Opportunities for Growth and Development
We offer comprehensive programs that enable individuals to gain valuable work experience and employability skills while pursuing relevant studies.
Candidates will undertake their courses on a part-time basis while employed full-time, with dedicated time allocated during working hours to study and complete assessments. As part of the employment offer, we cover 100% of course fees and costs associated with studies, including textbooks.
The following fields are available for trainee and cadet positions:
* Horticulture and gardening
* Human Resources
* Community Development
* Building surveying
* Town Planning
* Journalism
* Plumbing
Over 20 active trainee and cadet positions are currently available, typically lasting between 2-6 years depending on the length of study required for a specific qualification.
Applicants can join at an entry-level position and do not require prior professional or educational experience. Consider how your life experiences, volunteering, or sports team involvement have developed your skills. Please refer to the attached guide for more information.
