Overview
We are seeking an experienced & detail orientated person with a passion for food and wine; to help support our long term team members, managers and experienced owner/operator. This role will report under our Restaurant Manager.
No day is the same with a variety of shifts on your roster

Task & Responsibilities
* Demonstrate a superior level of technical skills including; food handling, money handling, product knowledge, table clearing etc to each and every customer;
* Work under the Restaurant Managers to oversee the performance and productivity of restaurant and bar wait staff, according to set service procedures and standards;
* Induct and provide training to new staff;
* Serve food and beverages to tables in a manner that will deliver a positive experience to the customer. Lead other waitstaff in maintaining these high standards.
* Demonstrate a superior level of product knowledge by answering customer questions and recommend dishes and wines to customers that compliment food choices;
* Have an anything is possible customer service style, ensuring customers' needs and expectation are met during their experience at the restaurant.
* Be professional in your appearance and communication with a friendly approach to customers and co-workers;
* Oversee the professional handling of customer complaints in the absence of the Restaurant Managers
Qualifications & Experience
* Possess a high level of technical skills (food handling, money handling, product knowledge, table clearing etc).
* Have experience working in a similar environment in a similar role.
* Experience in online reservations systems and running busy shifts.

Rustico at Hay Shed Hill is a popular, 200 seat Mediterranean tapas restaurant over-looking the stunning Hay Shed Hill winery. Operating for 7 days a week and playing host to50 weddings each season.
