About The Role
As a Sports Trading Operator within Risk, Value and Trading, you'll deliver operational trading excellence across a broad portfolio of sporting products. Working within a global follow‐the‐sun model across Melbourne and Dublin, this role supports Sports Traders to ensure strong trading performance, efficient execution, and long‐term success. Reporting to the Senior Sports Trader, you'll use proprietary models, manage live sporting events, monitor risk, and collaborate closely with global teams to drive consistency, best practice and product growth across multiple sports.
Responsibilities
* Utilise proprietary trading models to manage pre‐match and live price efficiency
* Manage multiple live sporting events concurrently, applying real‐time analysis to support trading and risk decisions
* Monitor and manage exposure across sports products in collaboration with risk teams
* Support the delivery and evolution of sports betting products through day‐to‐day trading operations
* Set, track, and report on service level agreements and key performance indicators
* Deliver performance insights and support regular operational reporting
* Collaborate closely with global trading teams to share knowledge and improve outcomes across sports
About You
You're curious, detail‐focused, and comfortable working in fast‐paced, high‐pressure live trading environments. You enjoy solving problems in real time, stay calm when things move quickly, and take pride in accuracy and precision. You're motivated to learn and grow your trading capability across sports, proactive in taking on new challenges, and confident communicating with teammates and stakeholders. With a collaborative mindset and strong discipline, you contribute positively to team performance and operational excellence.
