This is a Maintenance Technician role with Amazon based in Sydney, NSW, AU Amazon Role Seniority - mid level More about the Maintenance Technician role at Amazon Amazon is seeking Maintenance Technicians - Day Shift to join our growing Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team at our site in Chullora, Sydney. As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll keep our site operating safely and efficiently by maintaining and repairing material handling equipment, automated packaging, and distribution machinery. You’ll respond to breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance, and implement long-term improvements to reduce downtime. This is a permanent day shift position working on a 4-day roster (10-hour shifts) and is entitled to annual leave and penalty rates where applicable. Learn more about Amazon RME in Australia Key job responsibilities - Complete proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment - Diagnose and repair equipment faults in a live warehouse environment - Implement long-term solutions to reduce future downtime - Use specialized tools to maximize equipment effectiveness - Follow and promote Health & Safety standards - Formal Trade Qualifications: Certificate lll in Electrotechnology with current electrical trade license or Cert lll in Engineering OR Mechanical Trade (Fitter/Turner).
