About the Role:
Our sales team, primarily based at our Cairns head office, is growing We're currently looking for passionate and capable individuals to join us. While this particular role focuses on Sales Administration, we're always on the lookout for motivated team members with skills across Sales Administration and Account Management.
Our team structure includes Sales Managers, Key Account Managers, Account Managers, and Sales Administration staff—so there are opportunities to grow, learn from experienced colleagues, and progress into more senior roles. Sales Administration staff are responsible for accurately and efficiently responding to customer phone and email enquiries and processing incoming purchases orders. Key tasks include entering quotes and sales orders, checking stock levels, sending despatch notices to our warehouses, tracking deliveries and ensuring customer requirements and expectations are met or exceeded in all interactions. We're seeking a well-presented, positive and capable multitasker with a proven track record, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and advanced Microsoft Office proficiency—ready to grow into a sales admin expert.
Our sales team is based in a modern office/warehouse environment located in Cairns, Australia. We work hard, celebrate our successes, pull our socks up when we need to and support each other when things get tough. The sales team currently consists of around 10 highly motivated and driven individuals, all at different points in their career and with a variety of strengths and experience. We are a close-knit team who strive to be the most professional and supportive solar wholesaler in the Australian and New Zealand Solar Industry. We take enormous pride in this point of difference and how we've been able to hold this position within the industry for almost 15 years.
AC Solar Warehouse is 100% Australian and employee owned. Our founder and Managing Director still works in the business every day and leads from the front with a very supportive, empowering and team focused management style.
Selection Criteria:
Experience in a similar sales administration
Demonstrated past achievement in academic, personal or professional endeavours
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and apply administrative expertise to solve problems
A current driver's licence is essential.
