Hannaford Supermarkets is committed to providing exceptional customer service through our Hannaford To Go department. As an Expeditor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring that their orders are accurate and delivered efficiently. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Organize and prioritize shop and pickup processes to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
* Conduct order reviews to verify accuracy and quality of products.
* Check code dates and fresh product quality with a focus on produce to ensure maximum freshness and quality.
* Count parcels to ensure accuracy and stage orders and consolidate bags when necessary.
* Setup shopper carts and partner with department leaders to ensure items requiring preparation are handled properly.
* Dispense pickup and delivery orders car-side to customers and last-mile delivery drivers.
* Monitor and manage all last-mile delivery orders through applicable dashboards and Flybuy orders through the staff dashboard app.
Requirements:
* Effective communication and customer service skills to provide excellent service to customers.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
* Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
* Ability to maintain a neat and organized workspace, adhering to company standards and safety guidelines.
Working Conditions:
* Perform repetitive hand and arm motions while standing/walking during the majority of the shift.
* Ability to wear the shopping device hands-free while shopping orders.
* Bend and lift products weighing up to 15 pounds continuously, 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds on occasion.
* Push or pull up to 75 pounds on occasion.
* Work in and out of inclement weather when necessary.
* Gather up to five shopping carts and push them to designated areas.
