* Base salary will be in the range $93,491 - $100, % Superannuation (HEW Level 6)

* Based at our St Lucia location


About This Opportunity

As a Future Student Officer, you will play a key role in developing and executing student recruitment strategies to achieve commencement targets in the designated region. This includes conducting market research, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing targeted initiatives to attract and convert prospective students.

This position is a fixed term contract for leave backfill and may require travel in and outside of Queensland.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Assist in developing and executing student recruitment plans by researching market trends and competitor activities.

* Forming key relationships with agents, schools, and key stakeholders.

* Organising and representing the University at recruitment events, both online and in-person.

* Delivering presentations and providing advice on UQ programs and admissions.

* Collaborating on marketing content and tailored recruitment materials.

* Monitoring recruitment outcomes, assessing initiatives, and providing recommendations.

About You

* A degree in a relevant discipline or a combination of experience in a similar role and/or training.

* Experience contributing to student recruitment plans and implementing successful initiatives through strong customer service and relationship management.

* Experience in providing market intelligence, conducting research and analysing data to help assess student recruitment initiatives and inform future strategies.

* The ability to manage a high volume workload whilst arranging logistics, preparing budgets, and solving problems to deliver our initiatives on time and within budget.

* Strong communication and intercultural skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders, resulting in business outcomes.

* Ability to prepare concise reports, draft marketing content specific to the target region and conduct presentations.

* Knowledge of the Australian secondary and higher education sector.

* Australian drivers license and eligibility for a Queensland Government Blue Card (working with children)

Appointment to this role is subject to the successful completion of relevant pre-employment checks, which may include verification of the right to work in Australia, criminal history checks, and other role-specific requirements such as Blue Card checks. This may also include checks relating to gender-based violence matters or other integrity and conduct requirements.
