Are you a reliable, passionate cook with the flexibility to work across weekdays and weekends? At Respect Aged Care, we're seeking a Casual Food Services Cook to create a warm, homely dining experience for our residents. While aged care experience is preferred, it's not essential—if you are reliable, have a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently as part of our supportive hospitality team. No two days are the same As Food Service Cook you will:
* Prepare and serve high-quality meals and beverages that meet residents' dietary and nutritional needs.
* Collaborate with residents, dietitians, Registered Nurses, and management on menu planning.
* Monitor stock levels and order supplies in line with menu plans and budget requirements.
* Maintain food safety standards through effective implementation of the Food Safety Program (FSP).
* Ensure a clean, safe, and well-organised kitchen while managing workload independently and assisting with other relevant duties as required.
About You
You'll thrive with us if you have:
* Trade Cook Certificate (or equivalent), including Food Handling and current Food Safety Supervisor certification.
* Proven hospitality experience, including aged care cooking.
* Leadership experience in a kitchen or food services environment, with Food Services Supervisor accreditation.
* Intermediate computer skills and the ability to meet Aged Care Worker Screening legislative requirements.
* Current National Police Certificate or willingness to obtain one.
