Task & responsibilities
* Provide expert advice on hair care, beauty products, and hairstyles to help clients achieve their desired look.
* Shampoo and condition hair and scalps, ensuring clients receive the best possible care.
* Color, straighten, and permanently wave hair using chemical solutions with precision and artistry.
* Cut hair using scissors, clippers, and razors to create personalized styles.
* Style hair into dreadlocks, braids, and add hair extensions for unique and trendy looks.
* Shave and trim beards and moustaches, offering comprehensive grooming services.
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation by regularly cleaning work areas and sanitizing instruments.
* Uphold salon standards of cleanliness and sanitation to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
* Build and maintain a loyal client base through excellent service and positive customer relations.
* Arrange appointments, manage schedules, and collect payments efficiently.
* Provide services for wigs and hairpieces, including cleaning, coloring, cutting, and styling as needed.

Qualification & experience
* Proven experience as a Hairdresser/Stylist in a salon environment.
* Proficiency in various hair cutting and grooming techniques, including chemical treatments and styling.
* Strong knowledge of hair care products and treatments.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Valid cosmetology or barbering license in the state of Western Australia.
* Exceptional customer service skills and a friendly demeanour.
* Flexibility to work hours, including evenings and weekends, based on salon needs.
