About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee all maintenance activities at our manufacturing site in Greystanes. In this role, you will drive both reactive and proactive maintenance strategies to ensure optimal equipment uptime, compliance with safety standards, and cost efficiency.
As the Maintenance Manager, you will report to the Operations Manager and lead a dedicated team of technicians. You will also collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support production goals effectively.

A day in the life… Maintenance Manager
Reporting to the Operations Manager, key responsibilities include but not limited to:
* Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
* Oversee day-to-day operations, including reactive repairs, scheduled maintenance, equipment inspections, and commissioning support.
* Manage spare parts, maintenance inventory, contractors, and related budgets effectively.
* Ensure strict compliance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) and environmental regulations, as well as internal maintenance standards.
* Lead, train, mentor, and evaluate a team of maintenance technicians.
* Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and logistics teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption to production.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction and reliability enhancements.
What will make you successful
Essential:
* Tertiary qualification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering/technology.
* Minimum 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (incl. PLCs, machinery).
* Proven experience managing direct reports, budgets, contractors, and preventive maintenance programs.
* Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical, PLC, hydraulic systems.
* Competent in interpreting technical drawings, OHS regulations, and equipment manuals.
Desirable:
* Trade qualification or relevant maintenance qualifications
* Experience with CMMS (e.g., SAP, MEX)
