Job Title: Sales Engineer, Enterprise Cybersecurity

Role Overview

A rapidly emerging, venture-backed cybersecurity startup is building a next-generation platform designed to protect organizations from modern, identity-driven attacks such as phishing, deepfakes, and multi-channel social engineering threats. With strong early traction among large enterprise customers and significant funding from top-tier investors, the company is entering a critical growth phase.

This role sits at the intersection of technical depth and customer impact. As one of the first pre-sales technical hires in the U.S., you will play a foundational role in shaping how the platform is positioned, demonstrated, and adopted by enterprise security teams. You will work directly with leadership, influence product direction, and help some of the largest organizations defend against rapidly evolving cyber threats.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with enterprise account executives to drive technical strategy across complex sales cyclesLead in-depth technical discovery conversations with security leaders, architects, and engineering stakeholdersDeliver tailored product demonstrations that clearly communicate technical value and differentiationDesign and articulate solution architectures within enterprise security ecosystemsSupport and guide proof-of-concept deployments and technical evaluationsServe as a trusted advisor to senior security leaders evaluating identity-based threatsCollaborate with product and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and shape roadmap decisionsDevelop technical enablement materials and support internal sales educationRepresent the company in technical discussions at customer meetings and industry events

Education & Qualifications

5–10+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or technical pre-sales within cybersecurity or enterprise SaaSStrong understanding of modern cybersecurity frameworks and identity-based threat landscapesExperience supporting enterprise sales cycles with senior stakeholders including CISOs and IT leadershipAbility to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-relevant messagingHands-on experience leading product demos, discovery sessions, and proof-of-concept engagementsStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to map customer challenges to technical solutionsComfort operating in fast-paced, early-stage environments with high ownership

Preferred Experience

Experience with identity security, email security, or endpoint security solutionsFamiliarity with enterprise identity platforms such as Okta, Azure AD / Entra ID, or Active DirectoryExposure to phishing defense, social engineering detection, or human-layer security technologiesBackground working within early-stage cybersecurity startups
