Job Overview:
The successful candidate will oversee the technical delivery of critical systems, leading a diverse team of specialists to achieve exceptional service, teamwork, and excellence.
This is a 12-month contract offering flexibility to work from home two days a week while contributing to meaningful, enterprise-wide projects.
* Establish a culture of outstanding service, collaboration, commitment to excellence, and professional ethics to drive team and organisational success.
* Lead a geographically dispersed team of multi-discipline technology specialists in a cross-functional environment, including offshore vendor resources with diverse technical skill sets.
* Collaborate across Technology Office delivery teams to manage and communicate inter-dependency risk, delivery timelines, business, and customer impacts.
* Develop and present quarterly plans for delivery streams to drive organisational change.
* Cross-coordinate go-live activities and facilitate development, maintenance, and implementation of system solutions through technology partners and internal IT service providers ensuring compliance to Great Southern Bank's change management processes.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience working in a lead role in a software delivery environment.
- Strong technical knowledge with the ability to communicate complex technical issues to business stakeholders.
- Sound understanding of IT Service Management principles and practices.
- Experience with the Systems Development Life Cycle utilising a variety of methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills, including facilitating workshops, building relationships, and interacting with key stakeholders across all levels of the organisation.
- Experience with vendor performance and relationship management.
- Ideally experience in the Financial Industry.
