**The Opportunity**

We now have a position for a Project Coordinator to join and provide project research, finance and administrative support to the ORIGINS Team in the Flourishing Child Research Project.

The ORIGINS Project is the largest study of its kind in Australia and aims to follow 10,000 families in the Joondalup and Wanneroo communities over a decade collecting biological samples, routine data and web-based questionnaires to help discover the causes of non-communicable diseases and improve child and adult health.

Reporting to our Co-Head of ORIGINS and closely working with the Flourishing Child Team within the larger ORIGINS Team, you will provide project administrative support, coordinate research activities and prepare updates on the progress of the research project in terms of research outputs, finances, staffing and interim milestones.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Supporting the management of all aspects of project planning, development and establishment for the Flourishing Child research project.
- Ensure project governance mechanisms are in place including ethics requirements
- Assist in setting up focus groups with relevant stakeholders and maintain databases.
- Coordinate Flourishing Child project management meetings and investigator meetings.

Conveniently located in our modern offices at Perth's Children's Hospital, this role will be offered on a full-time basis for 2 years.

**About You**
- Strong attention to detail and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer literacy (MS Office suite) particularly in Microsoft Excel, and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Demonstrated ability to set goals, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience using relevant data and project management systems (e.g. Asana, PowerBI) is highly desirable.
