About this role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our Transport and Construction Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting quarry materials to various construction sites across South Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate a Truck and Quad Dog to transport quarry materials to and from job sites
* Conduct daily pre-start inspections to ensure your vehicle is in top condition
* Follow all road rules, site requirements, and safety procedures at all times
* Maintain accurate records (daily truck tracking, fuel use, delivery dockets, etc.)
* Work closely with the logistics team to optimize delivery schedules
* Take responsibility for basic truck maintenance — including greasing and tyre tensioning
Requirements:
Essential qualifications and experience:
* A valid Heavy Combination (HC) licence with a clean driving record
* Minimum 3 years' experience operating a Truck and Quad Dog in a construction or transport setting
* A White Card (Construction Induction)
* A strong understanding of road safety and heavy vehicle best practices
* A proactive approach to vehicle care and maintenance
* Good communication, reliability, and a positive team attitude
