We embody these values in everything we do.Position Overview:We are seeking a Senior Product Service Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will provide ongoing support and technical guidance to both Customer and Dealer personnel.Product Service Engineers assist in identifying and correcting product deficiencies, improving product design, and implementing improvements to products within their assigned areas.Your role includes keeping Engineering, Service Engineering management, and the dealer organization informed of product issues through reports such as Failure Analysis, Summary Reports, and Problem Lists.This position requires expertise in equipment management and site application for the HRV product.Main Responsibilities:Support Field activities for New Product IntroductionIdentify and correct product deficiencies, improve design, and implement product improvements using CPI and DSN processesMaintain technical communication between Caterpillar and Dealers via the DSN systemPrepare Failure Analysis and Summary Reports; review and initiate Problem Lists; communicate solutions to relevant personnelNotify field and dealer personnel of resolved product issues through Technical Information Bulletins, Service Magazines, or Service LettersTravel to customer mine sites for field follow-up and investigationsManage equipment and site applicationsSkills and Experience:Strong electrical and/or mechanical aptitude, with a relevant degree or trade backgroundExcellent communication skills with technical clients; interpersonal skills to influence and motivateBackground in engineering or manufacturing, with familiarity with materials, equipment, and processesCollege or university degree or equivalent experiencePreference given to candidates with strong electrical and mechanical knowledge related to machinery.Additional Information:Caterpillar Australia is not currently sponsoring work visas for this position.Posting Dates:April 24, 2025 - May 7, 2025Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).Not ready to apply?
