About the role
The Change Manager is responsible for planning, delivering, and embedding change initiatives across the IDN to enable both compliance with contractual commitments and operational priorities.
This role includes stakeholder engagement, identifying and managing risks and resistance in the context of change initiatives. It works closely with Centre teams to drive successful adoption of change through structured frameworks and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
* Plan and deliver change initiatives, implementing change plans aligned with Network and Centre commitments.
* Enable change adoption through creation of self-service frameworks and tools for Centre and National teams.
* Partner with leaders to deliver change commitments, translating priorities into actionable steps.
* Manage risks and resistance associated with change activities, provide coaching and interventions to mitigate risks, enable service continuity, compliance, and staff wellbeing.
* Evaluate and improve adoption and effectiveness of change initiatives, report outcomes, and use data and feedback to refine strategies and embed continuous improvement.
Key experience
* Strong capability in developing self‑service frameworks, tools, and processes that enable local leaders to implement change effectively and consistently.
* Proven expertise in conducting change impact assessments on critical projects, with the ability to evaluate implications for people, processes, compliance obligations, and service delivery.
* Experience collaborating with HR and senior leadership to deliver people and culture initiatives that support organisational transformation and embed values‑driven practices.
* Highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, with a track record of partnering with Centre and National Managers to implement change commitments, provide tailored support, and ensure alignment across the network.
* Skilled in designing and executing communication plans for change initiatives, translating strategic priorities into clear, actionable steps for diverse stakeholder groups.
* Strong facilitation skills, with experience leading workshops, briefings, and feedback sessions to drive engagement, alignment, and ownership of change outcomes.
* Demonstrated ability to monitor and manage resistance to change through coaching, feedback loops, and targeted interventions, ensuring staff wellbeing and service continuity.
* Proven risk management capability, including identifying and mitigating risks to compliance and operations, escalating critical risks promptly, and implementing contingency plans.
