We are currently looking to engage an experienced Estimator - ideally based in Karratha or surrounds, but will consider a Perth-based role with site travel - to bolster our tendering team. Reporting to the relevant Project Managers, this role is critical in preparing accurate and competitive tenders for civil and mining projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications and company standards.
Responsibilities
* Prepare detailed cost estimates for tenders and proposals across civil and mining projects.
* Analyse project plans, specifications, and contract documents to identify scope and risks.
* Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotes.
* Develop and maintain estimating databases and cost benchmarks.
* Liaise with Project Managers and Engineers to ensure accurate pricing and methodology.
* Contribute to bid strategies and value engineering initiatives.

Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Estimator in civil construction or mining sectors.
* Strong understanding of earthworks, roadworks, and infrastructure projects.
* Proficient in estimating software and MS Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
