Job Title: Provisional Psych, Registered Psych or Counsellor

Job Summary:

This is an on‑site, permanent position with full‑time and part‑time hours considered. Allied Health Professionals assist job seekers with complex barriers to employment by conducting assessments, undertaking therapeutic interventions, facilitating groups, and making recommendations to vocational and non‑vocational services.

Key Duties:

* Conduct thorough assessments of candidates with a range of disability and barriers to employment.
* Offer counselling intervention services via face‑to‑face and telehealth, using various psychological methodologies.
* Refer candidates to additional external support services to help address barriers.
* Provide evaluations and monitor the progression of cases.
* Liaise with medical professionals and community agencies on behalf of candidates.
* Provide training and guidance to atWork staff on psychological services and procedures.

Qualifications:

* Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology with eligibility for registration with APHRA.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in counselling, or eligibility to gain membership with ACA/PACFA.
* Experience working within employment services highly regarded but not essential.
* Knowledge of psychology assessment / intervention strategies.
* Exceptional communication, rapport‑building skills and engagement.
* Proven ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports.
* Ability to work towards generating positive outcomes for clients.
* Ability to provide a Police Clearance (within 6 months) and a Work with Children's Check.
