The Role
As the Finance Analyst – Operations, you will support Dyno Nobel Asia Pacific's (DNAP) manufacturing operations through accurate product costing, inventory valuation, cost management, forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting. You will work closely with plant operations, maintenance teams and cost centre owners across Moranbah, Helidon, our emulsions plants and depot network to embed finance as a trusted partner and strengthen financial discipline across the region.
You Will
* Deliver accurate product costing, inventory valuation and cost centre management
* Execute month‑end processes including COGS, production variances and balance sheet reconciliations
* Partner with site leaders to drive cost discipline, forecasting accuracy and operational insights
* Prepare and support financial models and business cases for capital projects
* Support internal and external audits, internal controls and compliance with accounting standards
* Contribute to forecasting, budgeting and continuous improvement of financial processes
What You'll Bring
You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high‑performance culture.
* Accounting/Commerce degree and CA or CPA qualification
* Experience in a Manufacturing, Mining or Heavy Industry preferable
* Strong background in standard costing, cost accounting and inventory valuation
* Understanding of IAS2 and costing principles
* Experience partnering with operational teams
* SAP experience (preferred), strong analytical capability and excellent communication skills
