Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the installation of air conditioning and refrigeration units in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
* Support senior technicians in performing routine maintenance and servicing of cooling systems.
* Help troubleshoot and diagnose issues in air conditioning and refrigeration systems and make necessary repairs.
* Learn to read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and specifications.
* Assist in calibrating and adjusting control systems to maintain proper temperature and humidity levels.
* Learn to handle and work with refrigerants safely and in accordance with environmental regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports, equipment inspections, and parts inventory.
* Participate in on-the-job training and attend relevant classroom sessions.
* Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area.
* Collaborate with senior technicians and supervisors to learn from their expertise.
Requirements
