Our client, based in the Western Suburbs, are seeking an experienced and reliable Machine Operator to become an integral part of their growing team. This is a fast-paced job that has variety every day.
The Role:
* Day shift
* Monday to Friday
* Start- 7:00am
* Finish- 3:30pm (2:30pm on Friday's)
Key Responsibilities:
* Operation of printing and packaging machinery
* Undertake gluing (straight line, crash lock bottom, peel and seal)
* Box folding and gluing
* Die cutting
* Laminating/mounting paper to cardboard
* Feeding raw materials
* Packing of finished goods
* Troubleshooting when required
* Preventative maintenance
* Basic record keeping
Requirements:
* Previous experience in machine operation with printing, gluing, die cutting or other packaging machinery is essential
* Sound technical skills and ability to diagnose machine faults.
* Strong attention to detail
* A drive to learn and develop in a growing company
* Good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.
* Must have drivers licence and own transport
* Must be available for an immediate start
