The Alfred Health Carer Engagement role is focused on developing and delivering programs that support carers and enhance their social inclusion, participation, and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
* Program Development: Create and implement group-based programs and activities for carers, including information sessions, wellbeing, social support, and peer support sessions.
* Community Engagement: Engage and collaborate with carer support groups, key partners, and stakeholders across the community, health, and hospital settings.
* Diversity and Accessibility: Develop links with vulnerable and diverse groups to strengthen accessibility of services for carers.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Health, Behavioural Science, Social Sciences, or Welfare.
* Community Experience: Experience in community engagement, event planning, and delivery.
* Project Management: Sound project management skills to prioritise and coordinate activities.
* Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Care Coordination: Experience in assessment, care planning, and service coordination is highly regarded.
