The Role

We are ideally seeking a passionate and innovative individual to join our team as an Experiential Learning Support Officer within the Big Picture program, supporting students from Years 7 to 12.

The successful applicant will support the establishment and operations of the Structured Workplace Learning program and operation of the Big Picture program. They may assist in locating appropriate industry placements and internships for students, conducting site checks and meeting with prospective employers. You may also be responsible for monitoring student progress; including checking student logbooks for satisfactory completion and working hours, and at the direction of the Manager Business Operations; maintain the program's database, monitor the budget for the program and undertake the relevant paperwork and prepares relevant correspondence.

Eligibility

* be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.

* consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit before you start.

o Demonstrated sound written, oral and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, students, employers and parents.
o Demonstrated sound organisational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and identify priorities
