Do you want to be part of a team that deploys and automates one of the world's largest and most complex networks? As a Network Engineer working within AWS Infrastructure, you will be responsible for deploying network infrastructure across all of our network fabrics supporting the Amazon Retail Service, Kindle, Payments, and multiple AWS services. You will work closely with our automation teams to define tools that enable us to scale at an unprecedented volume. You'll have the opportunity to deploy, scale, and automate our network across multiple global data centers, including existing footprints and greenfield locations.

Key job responsibilities
* Deploy network infrastructure across all of our network fabrics supporting various Amazon services.
* Scale the network across multiple global data centers.
* Create and improve deployment processes to increase velocity and quality.
* Collaborate with internal customers on designing solutions from concept to production.
* Develop and update network standards to ensure proper deployment.
* Work with automation teams to develop tools for scalable network deployment.
Minimum qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Telecommunications, or similar, graduating in 2025.
* Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
* Scripting experience in Python, Perl, or Shell.
* Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and R&S.
* Understanding of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures.
* Ability to handle ambiguous challenges and articulate solutions through abstract thinking.
