Food Services Assistant
We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our team as a Food Services Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a rewarding career in hospitality, working 14x7 rosters that offer a great work-life balance.
Your key responsibilities will include assisting our chefs with food preparation, maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment, and participating in stock take and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in a back-of-house role, would be highly regarded but not essential as we provide training to new entrants.
* You must be able to work long shifts (10 hours) in a fast-paced environment, have a valid driver's license, and own reliable transport (or use the bus provided from Mackay).
* Able to work flexibly, autonomously when required, and part of a team.
* Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug test.
