The Company
We're delighted to be partnering with a highly respected Australian primary producer known for their premium raw and value added meat products, innovative manufacturing capability and strong national presence across major retail channels. With continued growth across supermarkets, QSR groups and foodservice, they’re now seeking a dynamic Domestic Meat Sales Executive to manage and grow key national retail accounts.
The Opportunity
Manage and grow key domestic retail accounts across major supermarket groups.
Strengthen long term customer relationships through exceptional service and communication.
Oversee the full sales cycle including forecasting, planning and retail program execution.
Work closely with production, NPD and operations to drive commercially viable growth.
Prepare pricing models, tenders, promotional plans and category reviews.
Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and new channels.
Collaborate with NPD to develop innovative retail ready products.
Support product launch strategies, packaging updates and retail execution.
Ensure all product ranges meet customer expectations for quality, consistency, and compliance.
Liaise with domestic logistics and supply chain teams to ensure accurate fulfilment.
Provide insights on demand, inventory flow and retail performance metrics.
Represent the business professionally at customer meetings, site visits and trade presentations. Commit to regular interstate travel.
The Candidate
Experience in value added, case ready or protein sales will be highly regarded.
Strong experience in FMCG sales, ideally within meat manufacturing.
A proven track record managing national retail accounts (Coles, Woolworths, Aldi, Costco or independents).
Commercial acumen with the ability to analyse numbers, trends and margins.
Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills.
A proactive approach with the confidence to lead conversations at head office level.
Passion for innovation, product development and delivering customer centric solutions.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities within a rapid-moving environment.
The Offer
A competitive salary package is on offer, aligned to your experience and ability to drive results within national retail channels. Currently sitting around the $150,000-$180,000 mark but open to negotiation. Located in Melbourne.
