Children and Young Persons Practice Leader Role
This position is responsible for providing expert practice leadership on engaging children and young people, assessing risk and needs for the infant, child, young person and family. The successful candidate will support interventions for infants, children and young people impacted by family violence and/or experiencing vulnerabilities due to other factors.

* You will proactively build capability across the workforce working collaboratively to engage with children and young people to ensure that their experiences and voices inform the service response in line with The Service Model and Best Interests Case Practice Model.
We focus on providing services to vulnerable families who require extra support with the care, development and wellbeing of unborn babies, infants, children and young people.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide expert practice leadership on engaging children and young people.
* Assess risk and needs for the infant, child, young person and family.
* Serve as a key contact point for clients and stakeholders.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Professional clinical experience and relevant qualification(s) in social work, psychology or a related discipline is essential.
* Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent as per the mandatory minimum qualification requirements for specialist family violence practitioners.
* A strong knowledge and understanding of the drivers/causes of family violence and child and family vulnerability, as well as the child and family services and/or broader social services sector and their fundamental practices and theories.
