A1 Bottled Waters Pty Ltd is hiring a Full time Electrical Engineering Technician role in Penrith, NSW. Apply now to be part of our team. An established beverage manufacturing company in Penrith NSW 2750 is looking for two (2) experienced Electrical Engineering Technicians.
Responsibilities
* Preparation of electrical installation drawings and circuit diagrams for the plastics blow moulding machinery and bottle filling line to ensure continuous and reliable processing time.
* Assist a contractual Electrical Engineer in the design and layout of electrical installations and cabling of bottle filling line machineries, switchgear circuits and electrical motors, compressors and shrink packaging machineries.
* Able to conduct regular/megger/safety testing of all electrical wirings and electrical equipment to ensure insulation readings are maintained at a satisfactory figure based on Australian electrical standards.
* Able to estimate costs of electrical spare parts required to maintain existing plastic blow moulding machines and the bottle filling lines.
* In charge of the assembly, installation, testing, commissioning and repairing electrical equipment and machine installations to conform with Australian regulations and safety requirements.
* Perform electrical workshop functions such as assembling and installing protection relays, switches, meters and other electrical devices.
* Gives input to assist management on ways and means to continuously achieve maximum efficiency.
* Participate in the acquisition, installation and commissioning of required additional equipment.
Qualifications
* Minimum of at least 3 years on-the-job experience in the listed areas.
* Familiar with machine installation and commissioning to keep plastic blow moulding and bottling line machinery in operation 24 hours a day.
* Willing to work full time on various shifts and be on-call to suit our 7-day operation.
* Able to work under the supervision of a licensed engineer and in alternate shifts with other Electrical Engineering Technicians.
* Holding a valid registration or equivalent certification as an electrical engineer/technician is an advantage.
Salary range: $78,160 to 82,160.
