Junior Site Coordinator
$50M Landmark Project | McLaren Vale
An exciting opportunity is available for a Junior Site Coordinator to join a high-performing project team delivering a $50 million landmark construction project in McLaren Vale. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in construction, gaining hands-on exposure across site coordination, contract administration and stakeholder management.
Working closely with the Senior Project Engineer (SPE), Site Manager and Foreman, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of works on site while developing strong technical and commercial foundations.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Senior Project Engineer on contract administration for subcontractors and suppliers
* Receive, assess and process subcontractor progress claims
* Receive, assess and track variations
* Control and manage documentation flow to trades
* Receive and respond to subcontractor RFIs
* Coordinate RFIs with design consultants
* Work closely with the Site Manager and Foreman to manage site activities
* Participate in site QA inspections and site checks
* Assist with safety management, including daily pre-starts, toolbox talks, site inductions, plant checks and SWMS reviews
About You
* Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline (or currently studying)
* Previous experience in a site-based or construction coordination role (highly regarded)
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
* Excellent communication skills with confidence liaising with trades, consultants and internal stakeholders
* A proactive attitude with a genuine desire to learn and grow within a project team
* Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
