About the role
RV Recruit is seeking an experienced Caravan Technician to join a new branch in Caboolture, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality assembly, maintenance, repairs and fit outs to a small range of caravan models. As a skilled technician, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our customers' caravans are safe, functional and well-maintained.
This award winning brand has a successful Sydney and Melbourne branch, and are looking to continue their success with their first Queensland branch You'll be apart of their launch into the QLD Market.
What you'll be doing
1. Performing routine servicing and assembly tasks on caravans, including electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems.
2. Australian work rights are required for this position
3. Diagnosing and repairing faults and issues in caravan components and systems
4. Carrying out renovations and modifications to caravans as per customer requirements
5. Maintaining detailed records of all work completed
6. Providing exceptional customer service and technical advice to clients
7. Working in a newly opened branch, so an appetite to grow a new brand in the QLD landscape is an advantage
8. Using hand and power tools to fit out and assemble caravans with advanced proficiency
What we're looking for
1. Formal qualifications in Automotive Mechanics or a related trade is preferred
2. Demonstrated experience as a Caravan Technician or similar role
3. Previous experience in a caravan or vehicle workshop
4. Strong technical and diagnostic skills, with the ability to problem-solve complex issues
5. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
6. Good communication skills and the ability to liaise with customers
7. A valid driver's licence and your own tools
