Job Description
* Maintain and organise technical documents, drawings, and records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
* Collaborate with engineering teams / SMEs for information gathering
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal procedures in documentation management.
* Prepare and distribute documentation to relevant stakeholders as required.
* Support the development and implementation of document control systems and tools.
* Review and update existing documentation to reflect the latest changes and improvements.
* Monitor and track document workflows to ensure timely completion of tasks.
* Provide training and support to team members on document control processes and systems.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Engineering Technical Writer should have:
* Experience in engineering, ideally within the mining industry
* Experience in technical writing & producing quality documentation
* Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficiency in documentation management software and tools.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
* A proactive and solution-focused approach to managing tasks and challenges.
