Your New Role – Civil Engineer
An exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join Central Coast Council's Infrastructure Services team has arisen. This position will be responsible for the provision of high-level technical expertise including design, survey, estimation, project management and supervision of works associated with the development, renewal, upgrade, and maintenance of Council stormwater systems. You'll play a key role in shaping flood mitigation strategies, improving water quality and enhancing livability for our community. You'll also be able to contribute to projects in roads, bridges, streets, transport and traffic infrastructure.
Essential:
* An undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering and relevant industry experience
* Excellent technical knowledge of all relevant engineering standards, design guides and governing legislation.
* Previous experience in contract administration and construction supervision.
* High level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce concise and professional reports and documentation within the realm of civil engineering.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Experience with 2D stormwater modelling software, CAD and general civil design packages, previous use of 12D and Tuflow would be highly regarded.
Salary and conditions: Full-time position (75 hours per fortnight). Central Coast Council's Enterprise Agreement – Professional Level 3 ($56.46-$63.77 per hour, $110,099-$124,365 per annum).
