We are currently partnering with a well established workshop based in Clyde that is seeking an experienced Stainless Steel Fabricator / Welder to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
This is a hands‐on role suited to a skilled fabricator who takes pride in high quality quality construction and enjoys working in a structured workshop environment.
Your new role
Fabrication of stainless steel components, including cutting, bending, assembling, and welding
TIG and MIG welding to a high standard (stainless steel focus)
Interpreting and working from technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
Finishing processes including grinding, polishing, and brushing stainless surfaces.
Inspecting completed components to ensure quality and specification compliance
Safe operation of fabrication machinery and workshop equipment
Working collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and team members to meet production deadlines
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in line with WHS requirements
Adhering to company quality assurance procedures and reporting standards
What you'll need to succeed
Trade qualified or highly experienced stainless steel fabricator
Strong TIG and MIG welding skills on stainless steel
Able to read and interpret technical drawings
High attention to detail and quality quality construction
Orbital welding experience highly regarded
Strong safety awareness and team focused attitude
What you'll get in return
Permanent full‐time role
Day shift: 6:00am - 2:30pm
$50 - $52 per hour, with flexibility for the right experience
Overtime and Saturday work available when workload demands
