**About The Opportunity**
NSW Refugee Health Service is currently seeking a Social Worker who is client centred and trauma-informed, is a strong team player, and skilled at managing competing demands and priorities. We currently have a temporary full-time position available.

**What You'll Be Doing**

**Where You'll Be Working**
The NSW Refugee Health Service is a friendly, dynamic, multicultural environment. Applicants will work business hours and may be eligible for flexible work arrangements. You will help us give newly arrived patients from a refugee background a great welcome to the health system.

The service is based in the heart of Liverpool, not in the hospital.

You'll have the chance to work closely with patients, including undertaking home visits and be exposed to a variety of disciplines and specialties. The multidisciplinary team at NSW Refugee Health Service is supportive and encouraging, with the senior members always looking for ways to enrich the experience of the team.

Our office is situated close to public transport, public schools, shops and a major shopping centre.

**How to Apply**
- A Social Work degree which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
- Demonstrated experience in a health related field and ability to provide a range of Social Work interventions.
- Demonstrated experience prioritising work and managing stressful situations.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated high level communication skills (written and verbal), and computer skills.
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
